There were different watercolourists busy in Belgium
under the name Allard. On the web you can find a fine
example of an oriental art watercolour from the hand of
Charles Allard. Work on Paper. Dimensions: 25 / 35 cm.
Strangely enough this work has been signed twice: Here is an example
of the right lower end corner signature that has a different letter "A".

In fact this artist has specialized himself more into
sculptures and sometimes works on paper are the first
finger exercises to a new sculture in that sense. This
is a rather big work called: " Whirl".
As it is not my style to bring in his sculptures as this Blog
has been dedicated to watercolours and drawings, I will not
not present his sculptures here but they are worth every
observation! Work on paper. Dimensions: 70 / 90cm.
