Elsa was the daughter of Jan Frans de Boever who himself
was a very gifted painter. He accused his daughter of being
his copyist. That's why these two people split. This work has
very little to do with the work of Jan Frans. Recently we
received some information of people who are taking care
of the Jan Frans de Boever site. Elsa never painted like this
so we did some further investigations. The signature can
be found in the Paul Piron dictionnary under Christian
De Leener. It is undoubtly his work. Mixed techniques.
Work on paper. Dimensions: 50 - 70 cm.
