A lot of works were done in the watercolor technique
and as she studied in Japan and China her approach
is a bit similar to that of the French fauvist Raoul Dufy
who also was an admirer of the Chinese and Japanese
approach. Work on paper. Dimensions: 36 / 47 cm.
A little bit hard to read but anyway absolutely
original. I've read somewhere that she was a Russian
princess and finally came to Belgium and lived
for the rest of her life there.

Though probably not that special this watercolour
brings alive our memories of Madrid. We had breakfast
in a restaurant situated at the right corner and we
were planning to visit the workshops of the
famous José Ramirez (guitars)
