Not a watercolour but a crayon by the hand of this
Indonesian based artist. In a quick but "pointing"
style. Not just a view which we particularly liked.
Giving this detail it is possible to take a closer look
at how the artist manages to create an impression.
A lot of people, possibly a kind of a market?
With just a few strikes the palm leaves are there!
Probably already from the fifties it remains "fresh".
And his signature of course. Work on paper.
Dimensions: 43 / 57 cm.
Tini van Doornik
Though sold allready I still dig this watercolour.
We had contact with her daughter. Tine painted
these animals being for hours in the Zoo (Artis)
Work on paper. Dimensions 40 / 70 cm.
Jan Ernst Douma
I recently had contact with this Dutch artist who still
produces watercolours. His city views are worth an
observation though his style in this earlier work is
allready there. Work on paper. Dimensions: 70 / 90 cm.
