Sven X Erickson
This is a somewhat later work by then nearly blind
Swedish artist Erixson. Its melancholism really beats
me! Work on paper. Dimensions: 40 - 50 cm
This must have been a later work by this artist
as he died in 1969, then nearly blind.
Ernest Faut (1879-1961)
This expressive drawing in red ink and pencil has been done
by Ernest Faut on marked paper (see upper right corner) but
still there are some doubts regarding the work being a genuine
work and not a litho or even print. We still have to investigate!
Work on paper. Dimensions: 24 / 39 cm.
Ernest Faut uses a workplace stamp but it includes the year of
production as well. Normally we wouldn't have bought a
work like this but it came to us with another work we liked!
Careful examination of this drawing learned us to be more
polite to this artist. There is a lot of sensitivity in this work.
Eugene Fehdmer
While we like the skills of the two Fehdmer brothers
we keep investigating in their art. Especially the birch
trees are a speciality of this german born watercolourist.
Work on paper. Dimensions 30 / 40 cm.
Victor Fermeuse
Victor Fermeuse
Presented here is a nice watercolor from the hand of Victor Fermeuse.
It reminds us a bit on our childhood when the gardens behind many
houses had something picturesque but also were proof of some
kind of poverty though we accepted it as being normal by then.
Victor Fermeuse did a lot of oil paintings but was a gifted
watercolorist as well. Work on paper. Dimensions: 30 / 45 cm.
