This belgian painter and watercolourist is known for his
beautiful colours. His objects were divers: Still life as well as
nudes and everything in between.
This is a mixed technique work that is a watercolour as a start.
Funny thing is that van de Leene made a first set up on the back
of this paper but apparently was not satisfied with the result
and started all over again. Probably heightened with gouache.
Work on paper. Dimensions 61.5 / 51 cm.
I allready had a signature of this artist that is very
good readable but as I am also allways searching for
signatures to compare with I assume others will do the
same. In the lower middle a mounting mark can be seen.
