Isidore Opsomer

Opsomer had a brief stay in The Hague (The Netherlands)
during World War I. It is known that he also worked in
Delft among others. This point is taken from the corner:
Kolk and Voorstreet in Delft. You are able to compare this
drawing with the picture here below. Many thanks
for the information from the city archive DELFT.

They provided us with this photo. The drawing has been
taken from a higher point what makes it more intimate.
Someone brought in a rather big collection of Opsomer
drawings and etchings in an Auction House. Luckily
we were there as well! Work on paper.
Dimensions 87 / 70 cm.
