Heinrich Zille / Jose Zuzaya

Really famous for his drawings this Berlin based artist is
still beloved and not only in his country. He made
lots of drawings and this one dates from 1908 as
its' signature states. It is called "Der Zieger".
However, Galerie Rosenbach  (Hannover) who is
known to be the expert states it not to be a genuine
drawing made by Heinrich Zille. Of course it is allways
tricky when only one expert makes a statement like
that. For works more valuable it more than often
happens that the market is kept limited by some so
called experts though I won't say Rosenbach did this.
You simply have to keep it in mind. It happened to us
with a later officially stated work to be original and
authentic: "The Farrier Shop" by William Pether.
Work on paper. Dimensions: 21 / 29,6 cm.

Jose Zuzaya

This is the Gothic aerea in Barcelona. Depicted here
is the former main road of this in fact roman city.
This road is between the Cathedral and the Plaza Sant
Jaume. The bridge that couples the buildings on both
sides of this street has the appearance of being gothic
however it has been added in 1928. Work on paper.
Probably mixed technique: Handcoloured litho??
Work on paper. Dimensions: 25 / 35 cm.

And the signature of course. When you visit the Spanish site
of milanuncios.es you are likely find some works from his hand.
